Sunday Kids’ ministry
Our kids ministry is split into three groups
A professionally supervised creche, for children under 4.
For kids aged 4-11. Worship, teaching, craft and games. Takes place on the first, second and third Sundays of the month, in the Swann Hall. Please bring kids into the service with you, where they will be called out to take part in the kids program. For more information, or to get involved, please contact the parish office.
For young people in sixth class and up. Meet the first, second and third Sundays of the month, in the youth room. As with our children’s ministry, our youth take part in the first part of the service, before leaving for teaching and fellowship in their own group.
For more information, contact our youth leader via the parish office.
Young Life gives young people across the community a place where they can get together for fun, entertainment, games and a short talk. All young people of secondary school age, of any or no faith, are welcome. It’s designed to give kids the chance to be kids, have a good laugh, and get an understanding of who Jesus is for them, in their daily struggles and challenges.
Young Life takes place two Saturday evenings a month at the YWCA youth cafe 7:30-8:30 pm
After meetings, leaders and young people often go to a local café for a bag of chips or ice-cream.
Contact the parish office to find out more.
The Parenting Course
Starting in November 2019, we will be running a parenting course, for those who’d like to hone their parenting skills. As any parent knows, nobody is ever ‘the perfect parent’, but through meeting together, we can share our struggles, and learn from one another along the way.
Contact Rev. Rebecca Guildea for more info.
